Bears are curious and almost always foraging in nature. We encourage this behavior with our beehive. With this long-term occupation the individual wooden discs have to be pushed up by the paw or snout to expose the feeding holes.

Big Drum Feeder

Our massive feeding drum for bears and great apes. Stably built and hollowed out, it releases food (dry food, e.g. nuts, pellets, etc.) through rotation, thus creating a great incentive for strong animals to exercise. Our feeding drum can also be equipped with our innovative insert. This enables an even longer period of activity and enables a more targeted dosage of the food that falls out.

A feed dispenser made of plastic? Not with us. Our Grobe box does not only look better and it offers long-lasting enrichment. Easy to clean and available with three different inlays. The different inserts with obstacles make the search for food more difficult and offer a lot of challenges. Suitable for marmosets, birds and many other zoo animals.

Bamboo Tubes

With movement and lightness.

An ideal enrichment for agile and smaller primates. The fillable bamboo tubes are tilted and release food. The bamboo cane stands up again vertically after usage though it’s own weight. This device is beautiful to look at, practical and easy to use.

A discus disc in the enclosure. With embedded food hiding places, which allow access to the food by rotating the discus discs one on top of the other. Optionally also with small, rotating wooden lids for additional enrichment. A wooden box that has it all.

The bottom of each wooden block has multiple hole holes for hiding food.

Predator Tree

A wooden sparring partner.

This wooden sparring partner is more than just a clever hiding place for food. Its rugged shape also holds up to the demands of bears and big cats. The steel skeleton and spring core is protected by a solid, wooden outer panel. Knocking against the forage tree sets the internal spring in motion, which then causes feed to fall out through a chute.

Resembles fruits hanging from a tree. The hollow interior can be accessed by open up the lids and provides a practical food hiding place. The Hanging Fruits can also stand upright on plain ground.

With a total diameter of approx. 30 cm in the form of a platonic solid, it can also withstand heavier loads. All corners and edges are protected from "gnawing" by firmly mounted aluminum strips. It is also equipped with a stainless steel maintenance cover that can be unscrewed to simplify cleaning the inside or loading chucks. Including wood coating with biocide-free wax impregnation.

Our feeding cross can be installed hanging above the ground and, with several conically milled holes, offers space for inserting e.g. carrots, pellets or similar. All corners and edges are protected from "gnawing" by permanently mounted aluminum strips and the oak wood used gives the enrichment a very natural look. Including wood coating with biocide-free wax impregnation.
